Collect testimonials

The best time to ask for feedback is while the experience is still fresh. Share your ShowNoise review link shortly after a performance, or make its QR code visible at the venue.

  • Send a direct follow-up to the person who booked the show.
  • Place the QR code near merchandise or another natural audience touchpoint.
  • Include the review link in a short post-show message to attendees who opted to hear from you.

Avoid interrupting the performance or pressuring someone to respond on the spot.

Specific prompts tend to produce more useful testimonials. Ask what stood out, how the room responded, or what made the act a good fit for the event.

For a booker, you might ask:

What was it like to work with us, and how did the audience respond?

For an audience member, you might ask:

What is the moment from the show you would tell a friend about?

Say why their perspective matters and keep the message brief. A good request sounds like it came from the performer, not an automated campaign.
