Review and publish

Every submission should be reviewed before it becomes public. Publishing is a choice, not an automatic step.

Use the review inbox

Open Reviews → Pending and choose Review details.
Read the original submission, permissions, and any uploaded photo.
Choose Publish, Reject, or Archive. There is no separate Approved or Flagged step. Publishing requires publication permission; your performer page must also be public for profiles/widgets to display it.
Inspect photos separately before approving them for public display. Publishing text does not automatically approve media.

Use Published text correction only for minor corrections that preserve meaning, or leave it blank to use the original. Private moderation notes stay private. Choose Save correction and notes. The original submission is retained.

Unpublish removes a published review from public eligibility. Archive keeps the record without publishing it. In Archived, deletion is available with confirmation and is permanent. Check selections carefully before bulk actions.

What to look for

Strong testimonials are specific. They describe the event, the audience response, the working experience, or a memorable part of the performance. They also sound like the person who wrote them.

Before publishing, check that:

the feedback is relevant to your live act;
the wording is clear without changing the reviewer’s meaning;
the reviewer identity and role are presented accurately;
the testimonial does not reveal private or sensitive information;
you are comfortable associating it with your public profile.

Keep the selection useful

A public profile does not need every positive comment. Choose a mix that answers the questions a prospective booker or audience member is likely to have.

For example, pair feedback about the crowd experience with feedback about communication, reliability, or fit for a particular kind of event.

Change your mind later

If a published testimonial no longer represents your act, remove it from public view. Curating is an ongoing job, especially as your show and audience evolve.

Public ratings summarize the published selection, not all submissions. The count includes published unrated reviews; those reviews do not affect the average. Do not describe this as an independently verified score.

New public requests normally reflect changes after cache invalidation, with a 60-second expiry fallback. Already-open pages, screenshots, search indexes, and third-party copies are not automatically erased.
